Jason came to Fortitude Performance as a referral from his wife who had been training with us for several months. It became important from the outset to correctly assess Jason because he had come to us with several issues.

By doing a thorough assessment we were able to cater a individual program that emphasised working on or improving areas that needed to be strengthened while still hitting his main goals.

Jason had two main goals

  • Firstly to improve his body composition (drop fat and build muscle) while still being able to enjoy the occasional beer and going out for dinner
  • Secondly gain greater strength levels in the gym for the Squat, Bench Press and Deadlift

Why did you decide to do PT?

I decided on PT for many reasons. To get the best out of my training, with detail and expertise regarding form, program and execution. With some chronic issues and imbalances, I was at the stage where I needed the expert guidance of someone overseeing my training.

Why did you decide to continue PT with Fortitude Performance?

My only reason to continue with Fortitude Performance was, Ben Thorne. Ben is professional, knowledgeable and not stuck with one idea or formula. He tailored my training to suit my needs and abilities, while pushing me to exceed. Lastly Ben is also a great person, he has been a pleasure to work with and get to know.

How was it working with Fortitude Performance?

Training quite easily became apart of my routine, with Ben providing encouragement and motivation along the way. Ben explained everything clearly, helping me understand the processes. This helped spark my motivation and encouraged me to excel session by session. I now have a better understanding of function and form.

What Personal Training results have you noticed since you started training?

The most obvious result I have seen is my strength and posture, which have both improved. I have also seen improvements in my health, chronic issues, motivation and general wellbeing.

It is the action takers that will move forward and progress to having the body they deserve and want.
